2016 San Diego County Fair Exhibition of Photography
One of the largest photography competitions on the U.S. West Coast. More than 4,000 images are submitted from all over the world. Over 30 renowned photographers on the jury select around 1,000 of them for display.

Tom O Scott is one of seven nominees in the Portfolio Series category at the Third Black & White Spider Awards. The two portfolios entered were from the Sand Vision B&W series and the Dunes series.

"Red Rocks and Trees" is a nominee in the Nature category at the 2nd Annual International Color Awards.
World's Greatest Black & White Photographers
"Lettuce Workers," which won first place in the First B&W Spider Awards, is included in the new collection of winners from the Spider Awards.

Tom O Scott wins 1st Place in the Photojournalism category for "Lettuce Workers". He is also nominated in the Abstract category and is a nominee for Photographer of the Year.
2004 San Diego County Fair Photography Exhibition
Tom O Scott wins 1st Place in the Abstract/Still Life division for "Campfire." He also wins 4th place for "The Tempest" in Abstract/Still Life, and 3 honorable mentions in the Nature category for "Necklace", "Sleeping Siren", and "Tentacles". Thousands of photographers from all over the world enter this competition, one of the largest on the west coast.
