Portfolio / Image FAQ

How do I see a big image?

Go to the portfolio you're interested in, which will be in the WIND group, the FIRE group, or the EARTH group. When you click on one of the groups on the main menu, you'll be taken to a page that describes every portfolio in the group. There's a link to each portfolio at the top of the page, followed by a section devoted to each one. Click on the link at the top of the page, or go to the description of a portfolio.

The portfolio page will have smaller versions of every image in the portfolio. Just click on the image, and you'll get a full-screen version.

How do I view images in sequence?

When you're looking at an image full screen, just click anywhere on the right side of your screen to advance to the next image, and anywhere on the left side to go back. You don't have to click on the arrows.

How do I see the title and description?

When you're looking at the image full screen, move your mouse cursor over any part of the image itself. If that image has a title and description entered, it will appear as an overlay at the bottom of the image. To remove the overlay, simply move your cursor to the empty area to the right or left of the image.

How do I buy an image?

Fill in the Purchase Request Form, and you'll get an answer within 24 to 48 hours.

Can I use one of the images on my website?

I'm fairly flexible about this, as long as you contact me first. In the Contact form, be sure to include the URL of the website. Generally, if you have a non-profit site, attribution will be enough. Please do not use any images on this site without express permission. They are all copyrighted, and most of them are officially registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
